After tattooing for half of my life, I still get up every day loving what I do. Proud of what I have accomplished in my chosen profession, I look forward to the future. I hope that through producing the Marked for Life Tattoo Expo, I have helped women tattoo artists come into the public eye in a positive light. I still have my first tattoo, but now I wear it with pride. I’ve gotten many more since then and each one of them tells its own story. But together they tell the story of a woman who, against all odds, was able to rise up against a dominating husband and then make her mark in a male-dominated profession.
